Transparent corrugated glass vases.
Wave is a collection of glass vases designed by Ruben Deriemaeker and based on the large corrugated glass panels of the MAS, the Museum aan de Stroom, a museum packed with historical artefacts on a small island in the old harbour of Antwerp.
Wave vases, a range of 5 designs of simple shapes, lend themselves to the clever corrugated glass structure and take on the natural and unique texture of the wooden moulds as they are formed into these wonderful glass shapes.
The very pale light green colour allows a beautiful and delicate play on light and shadow as the texture is reflected on to any surrounding wall or surface.
